  • June in Sicily is warm and sunny, with temperatures ranging between 25-30°C (77-86°F) during the day and slightly cooler evenings.
  • Light, breathable clothing is recommended, along with a stylish hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen to protect against the Mediterranean sun.
  • Bring comfortable walking shoes, especially if you plan to explore historical sites or coastal trails.
  • Car rentals are the best option for exploring the region at your own pace. Sicily’s scenic coastal roads are breathtaking!
  • Taxis & Private Transfers can be pre-arranged if you prefer not to drive. Ask your hotel concierge for recommendations.
  • Sicilian cuisine is a must-try! Enjoy fresh seafood, pasta alla norma, caponata, and the famous arancini (fried rice balls).
  • Don’t skip dessert—cannoli and granita with brioche are local favorites!
  • Restaurants tend to serve dinner late (from 7:30 PM onward). Make reservations in advance for popular spots.
  • Visit the stunning Baroque towns of Noto and Ragusa, just a short drive away.
  • Explore the crystal-clear waters with a boat tour or a snorkeling adventure.
  • Take a scenic hike along the Vendicari Nature Reserve, famous for its beaches and wildlife.
  • Sip on Sicilian wines at a local vineyard tour—Nero d’Avola and Grillo are excellent choices!
  • Sicilians are warm and hospitable! A simple “Grazie” (thank you) and “Buongiorno” (good morning) go a long way.
  • Many shops and smaller restaurants close for “riposo” (afternoon siesta) between 1 PM – 4 PM, so plan accordingly.
  • Tipping isn’t mandatory in Italy, but rounding up the bill or leaving 5-10% is appreciated for good service.
